I’m In The Middle Of A Creative Drought
I'm not quite at this stage yet.
It’s true, I can’t think of anything to say about, well, anything. It’s not cool, it’s really worrying.
There used to be a time when I’d be able to come up with all manner of witty rantings. No more.
What I really need is a muse, something to kick off a creative chain reaction.
I do have a list of things I want to write about:
- The Apprentice
- Doctor Who (for Doctor Who Is Dire)
- Red Dead Redemption
- Solaris
There’s an other list of things I want to do:
- Design a logo for this site
- Redesign Carry My Eyes
- Start recording material for Zombie Projects Inc.
- Get back into photography
- Start a regular Doctor Who Is Dire podcast
- Take a new profile pic
- Sort out all my social networking accounts
It’s a fairly long list but I just never seem to get the time to do any of it.
Maybe I should sleep less? I do sleep a lot at the weekends. A lot. Those afternoon snoozes are playing havoc with my free time.
This weekend I’m going to really try and avoid the snoozes, that should enable me to at least get a couple of things crossed off the lists. In fact I want to get at least two things off those lists. There I’ve said it, I’ve got to do it now!
Huzzah!
Stop fretting – just take mental notes of day-to-day life and elaborate on them when you settle down to “your time” of which everyone should have an hour per day – without interruptions.
