I do believe that if I were only more focussed, I'd be pretty unstoppable. And in fact, times where I am forced to focus due to impending crisis (work deadlines, visitors arriving to a bomsite of a house) the results are always top notch. the trick is to impose that sense of urgency on yourself, a skill some have and an uncontrollable trait suffered by others -your driven millionaires. But can they rest when they get there? There are always trade-offs. The ability to have many ideas, probably due to some kind of looseness in the brain cells allowing greater freedom for odd and ever changing connections I'm guessing, unfortunately means I am not so good at other things, like time, reality, that sort of thing. Though I'm fairly hot on space. When I have time. What you need is a boring focussed person to team up with Jon. Or a crisis. And don't worry about missing things, you miss nearly eveything n th world every second, in those times just go and do something simple. Life happens while you are planning other things y'know. Now, where did I put my keys.

This is a very good point. I just need to relax a bit.

Now, where did I put that gin?

On the other hand all the interesting, fun people I've known have been equally unfocused. There is nothing wrong with underachievement so long as you approach it with conviction (or even single-mindedness, I suppose). He, he. :)
