Where Have All The Golden Grahams Gone?

Well? Where? Do you know, because I don’t. I’ve hunted high and low and I can’t find a single box of Golden Grahams on the shelves of any of my local supermarkets.

There are plenty of boxes of Curiously Cinnamon, which I assume are what used to be Cinnamon Grahams, but not a single box of Golden Grahams. Of course the emo-hermaphrodite working in the cereal aisle at Morrison’s was less than helpful when quizzed about the mystery, although it did venture into the back to look for me. Which as we all know is code for shuffle off to the back of the shop to mooch around for a bit before returning to claim that they didn’t have any. Which is what it did.

So, no further forward, I was certain the interwebs would hold the answer to this enigma. Fat chance. The Nestlé website still lists Nestlé Cinnamon Grahams but no Nestlé Golden Grahams. Bastards.

(I’m going to take off at a bit of a ranty tangent here but why do they insist on listing everything as Nestlé so and so? I’m on the cocking Nestlé website, I know I’m looking at Nestlé products. Jesus. Get over yourselves.)

It’s a travesty that Golden Grahams have been vanished but Cinnamon Grahams (aside from the sly name change) still exist. I always found Cinnamon Grahams to be too powdery and, well, cinnamony for my tastes. Golden Grahams were delicious, just the right balance of sugar and more sugar. Perfect.

This is all very curious.

It would appear that all trace of Golden Grahams ever existing has been erased from history and I really, really fucking liked them. What happened? I demand answers!

Sure, its nearly been a year since you posted this but…

    THEY’VE GONEEE!!!

    *sobs*

    I miss them so much!

They were discontinued in England because they had wayyy too much sugar and salt in them so were deemed unhealthy. :-(

They still sell them basically in every other country mind! I’m thinking of moving to America myself…

They are on eBay for a hefty price but you can never be sure if they will actually get through customs as they have been banned from England. Sucky, huh?

Who deemed them to be unhealthy? What cocking rotter said that? I demand a name, for I will be visiting them to give them a good hearty stabbing up for ruining my breakfast time.

I’m an adult, I’ll decide what I eat, not anyone else.

    Grrr.

I can’t believe that Golden Grahams have been wiped out!

They made perfect sense! How can they tell us what we can and can’t eat! Wrong in every sense.

All I can say is I miss Golden Grahams and Lucky Charms so, so, so much!!!

It made waking up worthwhile to get the yummyness of these two cereals…

I was in Bluewater shopping centre the other day and a sweet shop was selling boxes of Lucky Charms… But for £7.99 a box!!!

    No Golden Grahams tho! :(

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

Sad but true, they have disappeared from the shelves.

Perhaps a campaign to bring them back may do some good?

    Anyone fancy that?

Yeah, I know how you all feel, and I’ve had to move onto something else, Honey Shreddies and they taste good but it ain’t the same, I miss Golden Grahams…

I keep looking for these everywhere! I´ve just come back from Spain where they still sell them and Golden Graham cereal bars (which I have stocked up on!). They wont last forever though!
