You picked up on my point of course, this isn't anything unusual and it doesn't stop or even start with Ms Winehouse. Right now she's living a life that most of us will never experience (semi-thankfully) but it's going one of two ways here on in, she'll either clean up and become shit or do another amazing album and join the 27 Club.
